Quando creò tutti questi personaggi strampalati con caratteristiche improbabili e frequenti protagonisti di situazioni assurde o addirittura inverosimili , Stan Lee era abbastanza consapevole dei danni impressionanti ed irreversibili che avrebbe causato in svariate generazioni di lettori, ma non poteva immaginare che la nefasta influenza della sua insana dottrina si sarebbe col tempo spinta talmente oltre da essere foriera di siffatte e palesi sciagure fino al tracollo e al collasso completo del sistema di culturale occidentale.
Anche qui da noi in Italia il bilancio dei danni è ancora appena provvisorio e incalcolabile : secondo i dati dell’ Istat, ancora oggi i Fantastic Four sono il gruppo di quadrumani più noto, famoso ed imitato, molto più del Quartetto Cetra, dei 4+4 di nora orlandi, dei quattro cani per strada, dei quattro dell’ oca selvaggia, dei quattro spose per sette fratelli, dei quattro + quaranta gatti, dei tre moschettieri che in realtà sono poi quattro, dei quattro allegri ragazzi morti e di aldo giovanni e giacomo.

Synopsis
While Bull captures the Thing, Phillips captures Sue, and Dakor captures the Human Torch, while Dr. Doom captures Reed Richards with the aid of a robot built after the Thing.
Taking them to his headquarters, Dr. Doom intends to trap them in a room that once a solar wave passes through would transport them into space.
However, Sue traps Doom int a force field and in order to try and save his own hide Doom tries to find a way to disconnect the device but instead falls into the space opened in the floor, the FF manage to escape through the opening in the room, once again figuring Doom has perished for good.
Notes
- Per the Thing #1 (unpublished in Italy), the animosity the Yancy Street Gang shows towards the Thing stems from the fact that he previously used to be the leader of the gang. His departure from the group was seen as a betrayal.
- Upon Doom’s apparent demise at the end of this issue, the force keeping the Terrible Trio in another dimension was severed and they were returned to Earth, as revealed in Strange Tales #122 (in Italy in F4C #23).
- Although Dr. Doom appears to perish once again by being lost in space, he survives thanks to an impromptu rescue by Rama-Tut in Fantastic Four Annual #2 (in Italy in F4C #27).

Synopsis
Learning that the Eel is about to be released after serving his time, the Torch flies to the prison to warn the warden to lock the Eel back up.
The warden tells the Torch that the Eel has served his time and is free to go and the Torch watches helplessly as the Eel is allowed to leave.
Knowing the Eel is up to no good, the Torch is there when the Eel attempts a number of crimes.
Each time, the Eel bests the Torch with some mechanical device or another.
Realizing that the Eel must be hiding out at the local aquarium, he battles him there.
The Eel gains the upper hand at first, having coated himself with a flame proof oil, however the Torch gains the upper hand when while attempting to feed the Torch to the aquarium’s shark, the oil rubs away, allowing the Torch to use his flame powers and easily best the Eel and turn him back over to the authorities.
Afterwards, his colleagues in the Fantastic Four give Johnny a present: His very own aquarium with fish.
Notes
- The Torch mentions his last battle with the Eel which took place in Strange Tales #112 (in Italy in F4C #11).
- Near the end of the story, Johnny is reading a Fantastic Four comic book. As revealed in Fantastic Four #10 (in Italy in F4C #7), the Fantastic Four have licensed out their adventures to be adapted into comic books by Marvel Comics.
la storia a seguire ci conferma una banalissima ovvietà, e cioè che i bambini sono una gran scocciatura, soprattutto quelli degli altri, figuriamoci poi questo pestifero moccioso alieno che complice la disattenzione di mamma e papà è uscito dalla sua astronave di passaggio nelle orbite terrestri per scendere a combinare malestri e paradossi sul nostro pianeta, provocando panico, sconforto e disperazione ai poveri F4 che vorrebbero riconsegnarlo ai genitori, ma non sanno come fare, al collo del piccolo extraterrestre non c’è neanche una medaglietta con scritto su un numero di cellulare da chiamare o il nome dello stabilimento balneare dove riportarlo

Synopsis
After making a public display of their powers for the press, the Fantastic Four investigate strange happenings where the impossible seemingly happens.
Finding that an alien with reality altering powers is responsible the FF are determined to stop it, when they realize that the being is a child.
When a bunch of crooks realize the same thing, they trick the “Infant Terrible” to help them out, however, the alien child tends to change the properties of their loot before they can spend it.
Reed eventually finds a way to contact the Infants parents, which come and take the space-child back before its tantrums risk the destruction of the Earth.

Synopsis
While the Torch is putting on a demonstration for the public, his old nemesis the Wizard escapes from prison using an anti-gravity disc of his own design.
Using his new invention to commit crimes, he then later tricks the Torch into expending his flame powers by posing as a producer of a charity television program.
Knocking out the temporarily powerless Torch, the Wizard disguises himself as the Torch and takes his place within the Fantastic Four in an attempt to conquer the group.
His first act is to knock out the Invisible Girl and take her prisoner as well.
