Synopsis
Edgar Parnival Plunder is trying to teach his brother Kevin, better known as
Ka-Zar, the ways of civilized man, but Ka-Zar finds it anything but
civilized. Parnival also tells Ka-Zar about their fathers intention to
use Vibranium to create advanced new weaponry, a lie fabricated by
Parnival. Ka-Zar renounces his father’s inheritance, giving Parnival
control of his father’s castle and monies. Ka-Zar later stumbles into a
secret meeting where Parnival is ploting with Numa of the Mordrees and
Quor of the Reptile-Men to drive off the indiginous Mordrees so that
Parnival can mine the Vibranium found there (called anti-metal at this
early date). Ka-Zar rallies with the Mordrees and drive off the
Plunderer and his Reptile-Men.
Notes
Lord Plunder appearance is between INCREDIBLE HULK #111 (in Italy in URC #108-109) and X-MEN #62 (in Italy in CAPC #66).

Synopsis
Kraven the Hunter carefully plans to capture Zabu. He and his
henchmen travel to the Hidden Land defeat both Ka-Zar and Zabu and take
the sabre-toothed tiger as a captured trophy. Seeking revenge, Ka-Zar
travels to New York City to confront Kraven and free Zabu.

Synopsis
Ka-Zar has tracked Kraven down at his NYC apartment tower and brings the
fight to him. While Kraven learns that the more worthy target of his
hunt was the man and not the beast, another element comes into play. As
Kraven flees to lick his wounds a mysterious caller introduces himself
as the Petrified Man, and tells how his fate and that of the Savage Land
itself are tied.

Synopsis
A lion is the victim of an atomic bomb test. After it regains
consciousness from the stun, an amazing change has been wrought in the
lion’s brain due to radiation. It has gained the power of human-like
comprehension and seeks revenge upon mankind for nearly taking its life
with their weapon tests. Demonstrating a new ability to command all
forms of animal life, the lion summons nearby wildlife to a clearing to
hear its orders. As the lion plots out a strategy for a comprehensive
attack of all animal life upon mankind, the effects of the radiation
prove to be temporary, and the lion’s ability to reason slips from its
grasp. It lets out a mighty roar startling the other animals away from
it, and they go back to their various activities. The now ordinary lion
was almost the monarch of the entire planet.
