I FANTASTICI 4
FANTASTIC FOUR
prima serie Editoriale Corno
“But Who Shall Stop the Over-Mind?” / CHI FERMERA’ L’ INIZIATO ?

the Overmind.
After a brief battle in which Johnny is injured, the group
manages to escape to try and figure out their next course of action.

travel to Whisper Hill to visit Agatha Harkness. There, Ben and Johnny

Synopsis
This was Marvel’s try at a humor rag in the vein of the classic 1950s
issues of MAD. It wasn’t quite up to that standard (but then it didn’t
have Harvey Kurtzman or the likes of Will Elder or Wally Wood), but it
was usually amusing. Particularly of interest were stories where Jack
Kirby or Gene Colan ribbed their own material, usually very recent stuff
at that. Here Roy Thomas and Jim Mooney retell “Jack and the
Beanstalk”, cramming in many topical gags and cameos by everyone from
Woody Woodpecker to Elvis to the horror hosts from EC comics a dozen
years earlier.
