Storia principale dal titolo eccessivamente ed indebitamente citazionista tanto da scomodare addirittura l’ esimio e supremo intellettuale e letterato francese Emile Zola, ma stavolta la pietra dello scandalo non è il povero Dreyfus, bensì lo stesso CAP, incarnazione vivente della sfiga : oltre ad avere soltanto amici di colore (in questo numero oltre a Falcon c’è pure la tribale ed incivile PANTERA NERA) e soltanto nemici mediocri e derelitti come pure quello di turno stavolta – Moonstone – che non sfugge affatto all’ eccezione, ora poi per rincarare la dose viene addirittura anche accusato di un omicidio che non ha commesso. Per raggiungere l’ apoteosi della sfortuna gli manca solamente che gli caschi l’ uccello e toccando terra gli rimbalzi direttamente nel culo.

Synopsis
The Tumbler was assassinated by a mystery figure, but it looks like Cap did it
and the police come after him. Cap runs (uncharacteristically), but is
stopped by a new super-hero calling himself Moonstone.
Moonstone
is a criminal who got his powers when he stole a bit of rock that fell
from the Watcher’s Blue-Area of the moon, and he’s also the guy that
assassinated the Tumbler. Cap is busted out of jail by phony supporters
that are actually working for Moonstone. He defeats them but opts not
to return to captivity.
In Wakanda, while the Falcon and the Black
Panther work on the Falcon’s upgrade, Leila has a hard time getting
along with Tanzika, one of the court hand maidens. They take her to an
African city (Lagos, Nigeria) to pass the time, but she winds up getting
kidnapped by Stoneface, the gangster that Cap and the Falcon fought,
who is now in exile. Eventually the Black Panther and the Falcon show
up. The Falcon’s got his new costume that includes wings.
Notes
- Falcon’s costume is re-built by the Black Panther with glider wings in this issue.
- This story precedes Black Panther (T’Challa)‘s apperance in Jungle Action #6 “Panther’s Rage” arc (in Italy in THC #160, whole story arc in THC #160/172 or in MARVEL HISTORY PANINI #7).

Synopsis
While Luke Cage is busy saving construction workers from disaster in
New York, two of his old cellmates in Seagate prison, Comanche and
Shades have broken out. They have done so because after years of abuse
by guard Billy Bob Rackham led to Rackham’s dismissal from Seagate
prison, and the two have broken out to track him down and seek revenge,
all three parties ending up in New York City.
While Rackham tries to find a job in the city, Phil Fox happens
to run into him and learn of his connection to Seagate prison, leading
the two to begin working together to get back at Luke Cage. While back
at Cage’s office at the Gem Theater, Mrs. Jenks arrives with some
trouble. She explains to Luke that she was out on the town and this guy
didn’t take no for an answer after whining and dining her. Suddenly Big
Ben Donovan, the man in question, bursts through the wall looking for
Jenks. This leads to him and Luke duking it out.
While elsewhere, Rackham tells Phil Fox what he knows about the
origin of Luke Cage’s powers, and the two decide to work together to
expose Cage as a wanted felon, Fox for the fame and Rackham in hopes of
getting his old job back. They decide the best way to trap Luke is to
kidnap his girlfriend Claire Temple.
Back at Luke’s office, Luke has a brief respite from the battle
with Big Ben to put Mrs. Jenks in a cab and send her home, little
knowing that Rackham and Fox are following her. Returning to his office,
he and Big Ben resume their fight until Big Ben eventually gives up and
the two call a truce. While in another apartment, Comanche and Shades
find Rackham’s want ad in the newspaper and decide to go and deal with
him personally.
While at Mrs. Jenks’ home, Rackham has her tied up, and Fox
begins arguing over the fact that Rackham grabbed the wrong girl. The
two get into an argument as Claire arrives at Jenk’s apartment (looking
for Luke and hearing that he had went to Jenks’ place the day before)
where she over hears Rackham and Fox arguing over Luke’s fugitive status
and hears a gun shot go off. Entering the apartment, Claire finds only
Phil Fox, shot dead, in the room. She instinctively picks up the murder
weapon just as the police enter the room, demanding she put the weapon
down.

Synopsis
A dancer who wants a part threatens the girl who got it with a gun to
resign. Unfortunately for her, this girl is a witch, and she hexes the
dancer to dance in place without ever stopping until she starves to
death and even then her corpse dances on and on.
