da sempre il sogno americano offre una gamma di possibilità sterminate ed inimmaginabili per riuscire ad affermarsi e sfondare nella vita, infatti negli Stati Uniti chi non ha voglia di faticare può scegliere tra tre alternative: fare il pornodivo, la rockstar, oppure il super-eroe.
non particolarmente dotato per quel che riguardava le dimensioni dell’ attrezzo nè per le sue prestazioni endurance, e soprattutto essendo irrimediabilmente e scandalosamente stonato, Steve Rogers optò per la terza soluzione, e si dedicò all’ attività di buffone mascherato, indossando un bel costume tutto a stelle e strisce proprio come la bandiera della Bolivia
non essendo mai stato un modello di continuità e assiduità , cominciò però ben presto a prendersi delle lunghe pause di riposo e a rimanere spesso e volentieri a casa in mutua adducendo le patologie più disparate e insolite grazie a certificati medici compiacenti, mentre in realtà non aveva nulla e stava benissimo, negli anni del dopoguerra marcò visita addirittura per circa 15 anni consecutivi, finchè Stan Lee non lo trovò indecorosamente ubriaco in un bar del bronx nell’ orario della visita fiscale, e lo precettò costringendolo a tornare al lavoro. ma il lupo, si sa, perde il pelo ma non il vizio, e così anche ultimamente ha tirato indietro le sue chiappettine incartapecorite facendo finta di essere morto, gli hanno anche fatto il funerale, ma tanto non ci crede nessuno, si tratta invece certamente di una raffinata strategia di tanatosi mimetica, cui ricorrono anche molti animali come l’ opossum, il cinghiale, l’ insetto foglia o il serpente muso di porcello, insomma è tutta una vile e diabolica scusa per non fare un bel nulla
nelle edicole italiane il n.1 di CAP uscì il 23 Aprile 1973, ovvero alla immediata vigilia della famigerata austerity, e già questa piccola ma non trascurabile coincidenza avrebbe dovuto far toccare le palle a qualcuno all’ interno della Corno. infatti anche qui da noi svernò parecchi anni da vero e proprio mangiapane a tradimento, stipendiato senza fare un cacchio, finchè non ha provveduto la Madia a sistemarlo con uno dei suoi provvidenziali ed inesorabili decreti anti-fannulloni

Questo albo speciale commemorativo del traguardo dei 50 numeri è tutto completamente dedicato al mirabolante capitano statunitense, con 2 storie complete (in cui finalmente ufficializza e suggella formalmente la sua unione con Falcon ed il suo uccellaccio) + in appendice una spassosa e feroce parodia comica

Synopsis
In the first issue that features the Falcon’s name with Captain America’s on the cover page, Cap and Sam Wilson go up against a non-powered crimelord in the Falcon’s neighborhood called Stone-Face.
One of Sam’s nephews (not Jim Wilson) has been working for the master criminal in his numbers game division. Cap kind of half-jokingly expresses the idea that working over the nephew, Jody, might get them a lead on Stone-Face, but later, after Jody is arrested, Cap makes sure to show up at his trial and vouch for him.
The fact that Jody gets off without even a fine gets Stone-Face worried that Jody has squealed on him, so he sends some goons over to rough up Jody and his mother, Sarah. Which of course gets Cap and the Falcon the lead they needed, and had me wondering if that was Cap’s plan all along. In any event, the incident scares Jody straight.
Anyway, since this is the first official issue of Cap and the Falcon’s partnership, i was specifically watching to see how the two were treated, and my assessment is that they really do seem to be on equal footing. Granted they are both essentially non-powered guys fighting non-powered thugs, but there were no scenes citing Cap’s superior training and experience or making the Falcon needing help or anything.

- Falcon (Sam Wilson) officially becomes Captain America’s partner and co-star of this title this issue. The series will now be titled: Captain America and the Falcon until issue #222.
- Captain America appears briefly in Avengers #85 (in Italy in THC # 99) and Sub-Mariner #35 (in Italy in F4C # 96), then Captain America, Falcon, and Redwing help the Avengers fight Psyklop in Avengers #88 (in Italy in THC # 103) and Incredible Hulk #140 (in Italy in H&DIFC # 17) and then help the Avengers and Iron Man fight the White Dragon’s troops in Iron Man #39 (in Italy in DEVC # 124-125) shortly after this story.

Captain America introduces the Falcon to S.H.I.E.L.D and the new acquaintances arrange an exhibition sparring match in the combat room. When a scientist feels belittled and that only physical attributes matter, he turns himself into a more powerful being using the blood of an ape.

Synopsis
Knock Furious and Charlie America sit at a soda shop, swapping war stories. When Knock Furious asks Charlie America for his origin story, Charlie tells him everything from his origin to the present day (in typical parodic fashion). At the end of this story, it is revealed that Charlie America was really Bunky Barnes in disguise, and that it was Charlie America, not Bunky, who had died during World War 2.
