THOR E CAPITAN AMERICA EDITORIALE CORNO

Synopsis
K’rll begins attacking the Asgardians through the Odin beast. He
knocks them all down, and all that’s left is Volstagg. When the Odin
beast moves towards him, a blast of pure force shoots from his hands,
hurting the beast. Fighting Volstagg’s new power, the beast uses itself
up and dissipates, which causes feedback through the Soul Survivors
systems, destroying them. Thor then has Volstagg apply his powers to
try and revive Odin, to no avail. Then K’rll runs in screaming about
how the Asgardians have destroyed everything and he will kill them all.
Thor grabs him and is about to begin pounding on him, when Mjolnir
suddenly flies into his hand. He then realizes that Odin is alive.
Odin tells them that it is time to go home, then passes into the
Odinsleep. They board the Starjammer and head home. Hogun asks Thor
about Volstagg’s new power, and Thor tells him that Odin must have
passed the last of his power to Volstagg before he died, knowing that it
could revive him. After finally arriving home, Thor takes Odin’s
sleeping form to the royal bedchamber, then one of the guards tells him
that he is summoned to the throne room. There he finds the Enchantress
and the Executioner, and on the throne is Loki.

Synopsis
In Chamber Four, Nazi X attacks Cap and Donna Maria. Zola intervenes,
commanding Chamber Four to restrain his creation. He opens Nazi X’s
helmet to reveal “a most valuable human brain.” Donna Maria jumps Zola
while Cap takes his stimulator. The couple flees but Zola hurries to his
lab and connects to a machine that allows his mind to animate the
entire castle. He attacks Cap and Donna Maria with curtains, doorknobs,
and weapons, forcing them into a dark pit. Meanwhile, Sharon interviews
Cyrus Fenton. Thinking him a harmless “old dear,” she touches his face
and realizes it is a mask. Fenton unmasks as the Red Skull, admitting
that he did away with the real Fenton some time before. Sharon uses an
electro-pistol to gain the upper hand. The Skull tells her he has
captured Cap and agrees to take her to him. Meanwhile, the Castle Zola
pit manifests an eye and mouth and goads Cap and Donna Maria to Zola’s
underground lab. There, Zola reveals that Nazi X houses Adolph Hitler’s
brain and declares his intention to place it in Captain America’s body.
Notes
- The title refers to the menace of “Nazi X”. However, no one is
referred to by that name in this book. It is inferred that Nazi X is
the android alleged to have Adolph Hitler’s brain.
- Zola’s claim of Adolf Hitler’s last days in April, 1945 are in contrast to his previously established (DEATH) at the hands of the orginal Human Torch. ( seen in What If #4 , in Italy in MARVEL COLLECTION SPECIAL 2 / WHAT IF…? CLASSIC # 1 Panini 2012)
- Falcon (Sam Wilson) does not appear in this issue. He returns to this title in Captain America #213 (in Italy in THC # 193).
