con lo scioglimento dei F4 che sembra ormai definitivo ed irreversibile anche se tutti sanno che purtroppo non lo è, il sassolone sperduto Ben Grimm detto LA COSA, abbandonato e lasciato solo dagli altri 3 come un cane in autostrada a fine luglio, va in gita nella perfida albione dove si distrae e si consola con qualche scorribanda tarantiniana in compagnia del cazzosissimo SHANG CHI MAESTRO DEL KUNG FU, mentre si profila all’ orizzonte la inquietante sagoma artropode della DONNA RAGNO
contiene inoltre : MISS MARVEL (riprende finalmente la pubblicazione delle lascive avventure della superfessura più amata dagli adolescenti nerds/egaioli d’america e di tutto il mondo) KILLRAVEN (con la puntata conclusiva della saga, pur tra un vago senso di coitus interruptus o di chiusura della serie causa vendite insufficienti, insomma ci mangeremo le palle rimanendo sulle spine senza sapere il seguito e gli sviluppi successivi fino al volume brossurato Labor del 1986)

Synopsis
Arriving in England to deliver the Deathlok cyborg to Dr. Kort, the Thing and Alicia spend a bit of time sight seeing before going to their appointed destination.
Arriving there, they find that the entire mansion has been overturned, unaware that Dr. Kort had been kidnapped by Hydra who intend to have the doctor revive their agent Spider-Woman.
When Alicia finds blood at the scene of the kidnapping, her screams bring Shang-Chi, who mistakes the Thing for an attacker.
After a brief battle, they realize the reality of the situation and Shang-Chi agrees to help the Thing find Dr. Kort.
Tracking him down to a hidden Hydra base, Thing and Shang-Chi fight off the Hydra hordes and save Dr. Kort.
However, in spite of their victory, Hydra has obtained the serum they need to revive Spider-Woman.

Synopsis
Reporting the AIM base under a department store to SHIELD does not turn up any results, and AIM begins to plot against Carol Danvers.
Meanwhile Carol goes to a local bar to interview Tracy Burke, a photojournalist.
Their interview is interrupted when some crooks come to rob the bar, and Carol singlehandedly defeats them all without changing into Ms. Marvel.
That Saturday, Carol and Michael Bennett go swimming at the beach when Carol is drawn to a research facility.
Changing into Ms. Marvel once more, she finds Grotesk there attempting to utilize the Cavorite crystal on a warp generator.
The two get into a lengthy battle in which Grotesk overpowers her and attempts to drown her.
However, Ms. Marvel manages to get the upper hand and during their fight, Grotesk is thrown into the warp device, seemingly destroying him.
Carol survives and changes back to her civilian guise, with the Cavorite crystal in hand when she is recovered by Michael Barnett.

Notes
This would be the final issue of Volume 2 of Amazing Adventures. The series would return for a third volume would feature mostly reprints of old Uncanny X-Men stories. Killraven’s saga would not be continued until 1983 in Marvel Graphic Novel #7 (in Italy in Collana LABOR COMICS # 3)
