assieme a HULK & I DIFENSORI è l’ altra collana gemella varata contemporaneamente in diretta linea di continuità con gli aboliti ASE (Albi dei Super-Eroi Corno) di cui raccoglie eredità, pubblico e situazione patrimoniale, affidandosi stavolta ai due personaggi più ancestrali e darwiniani della precedente collana, ossia gli energumeni brutaloidi anabolizzati e sgrammaticati CONAN & KAZAR, a rustico connubio nell’ inedito convivio di decadenza barbarica e arretratezza preistorica, in cui si dividono mansioni e compiti e sperano di spartirsi bottino e incassi

- Carla and Ralph come to the Savage Land with a Swamp Tank to steal Ka-Zar’s vibranium, but when they force him to open the door to where it is stored the vibranium destroys the tank.
- Carla is carried off and killed by the Swamp Men when Ralph is not able to save her because the gun he was using only had blanks due to Carla replacing the bullets with blanks in an effort to get Ralph killed.

This story reprinted from Savage Tales #1 has been edited to exclude nudity, and sexual content – the end of one page and the beginning of the next are missing, along with edited text in the preceding and following panels (which had featured a conversation about sex, adultery, and human weakness, as well as a panel depicting naked Savage Land women washing). Also, two other panels have been individually edited: In one, the silhouette of Carla’s naked breast is rounded to remove the nipple, and in the other a torn dress is added to her naked floating body.

Since this is reprinted in a code book, it’s been edited to cover up nakedness (including an entire missing scene where Carla tries to seduce Ka-Zar but he just points to a whole gaggle of naked bathing beauties to show he’s got his pick of women)…
…as well as drawing in clothes where necessary (sometimes awkwardly).

Synopsis
Suddenly a local arrives to inform Shanna and Patrick that a rampaging cape buffalo has destroyed his village. Accompanied by Ina and Biri, Shanna takes off in pursuit, following its trail for hours.
After narrowly escaping death after falling into a spiked elephant trap, Shanna is rescued by a group of Greek-speaking, white tribesmen.
When her rescuers are attacked by a second group wearing bull masks, she helps them fight the attackers off.
