da sempre il sogno americano offre una gamma di possibilità sterminate ed inimmaginabili per riuscire ad affermarsi e sfondare nella vita, infatti negli Stati Uniti chi non ha voglia di faticare può scegliere tra tre alternative: fare il pornodivo, la rockstar, oppure il super-eroe. 

non particolarmente dotato per quel che riguardava le dimensioni dell’ attrezzo nè per le sue prestazioni endurance, e soprattutto essendo irrimediabilmente e scandalosamente stonato, Steve Rogers optò per la terza soluzione, e si dedicò all’ attività di buffone mascherato, indossando un bel costume tutto a stelle e strisce proprio come la bandiera della Bolivia

non essendo mai stato un modello di continuità e assiduità , cominciò però ben presto a prendersi delle lunghe pause di riposo e a rimanere spesso e volentieri a casa in mutua adducendo le patologie più disparate e insolite grazie a certificati medici compiacenti,  mentre in realtà non aveva nulla e stava benissimo, negli anni del dopoguerra marcò visita addirittura per circa 15 anni consecutivi, finchè Stan Lee non lo trovò indecorosamente ubriaco in un bar del bronx nell’ orario della visita fiscale, e lo precettò costringendolo a tornare al lavoro. ma il lupo, si sa, perde il pelo ma non il vizio, e così anche ultimamente ha tirato indietro le sue chiappettine incartapecorite facendo finta di essere morto, gli hanno anche fatto il funerale, ma tanto non ci crede nessuno, si tratta invece certamente di una raffinata strategia di tanatosi mimetica, cui ricorrono anche molti animali come l’ opossum, il cinghiale, l’ insetto foglia o il serpente muso di porcello, insomma è tutta una vile e diabolica scusa per non fare un bel nulla 

nelle edicole italiane il n.1 di CAP uscì il 23 Aprile 1973, ovvero alla immediata vigilia della austerity, e già questa piccola ma non trascurabile coincidenza avrebbe dovuto far toccare le palle a qualcuno all’ interno della Corno. infatti anche qui da noi svernò parecchi anni da vero e proprio mangiapane a tradimento, stipendiato senza fare un cacchio, finchè non ha provveduto Brunetta a sistemarlo con il suo provvidenziale ed inesorabile decreto anti-fannulloni

ebbene sì, nella storia principale l’ instabile e multipolare Occhio di Falco/Hawkeye si camuffa da Golden Archer (tradotto singolarmente Arciere d’ Argento anzichè d’Oro, forse perchè in quell’ epoca alla Corno erano abituati a convertire appunto l’oro col tasso di cambio dell’ argento) sfoggiando uno dei suoi travestimenti più riusciti, facendo rosicare Stanislao Moulinski ed abbindolando quel povero sciocco del dimissionario CAP che sia col costume che senza è ugualmente fesso e ci casca sempre

contiene : LUKE CAGE (finalmente POWERMAN) turista suo malgrado nel modello ideale di insediamento urbano che piace tanto a Trump, a Salvini e alla Meloni: quello di Massima Sicurezza

in appendice la celebre storiellina della buonanotte di Stan Lee e Steve Ditko che ha ispirato un famosissimo brano dei Beatles

Synopsis

Friend and former Avenger Hawkeye disguises himself as the villainous Golden Archer to lure Steve Rogers into resuming his crime-fighting career. Roscoeinforms the Falcon that he plans on being the new Captain America. After his confrontation with the Golden Archer, Steve decides to return to life of crime-fighting, but not as Captain America.

Synopsis

Luke and D.W. Griffith are heading to California to find Claire Temple, however their bus is attacked by armed men and the bus driver killed. After Luke quickly defeats the men, they find a town called Security City. A town fortified from the outside world where the xenophobic people are protected by armed guards.

Entering the town, they are captured and learn that it’s run by Luke’s old foe Gideon Mace. Mace had survived their last encounter and with an army of armed men took over this town and turned it into Security City. Under the false pretense of creating the ultimate gated community, Mace in reality hoped to condition the people of the city to do his bidding. This bout of exposition for the benefit of Cage and Giffith proves to be Gideon’s undoing, as Griffith had turned on the city-wide sound system allowing all the people of Security City to hear Gideon’s plot. This causes the people of Security City to revolt and riot against Gideon and his army. This gives Luke and D.W. the opportunity to break free and flee the city, leaving the people of Security City to deal with Gideon and his men on their own.

Synopsis

A tiny alien spaceship finds itself trapped in a telephone handset. When the phone goes off and is picked up, the alien pleads for help in escaping from the dark area. The listener thinks it’s a prank call but goes along with it for awhile until he becomes annoyed with the caller and slams down the handset, cracking it open. The relieved spaceship flies away and the man thinks he’s seen a large bug hop up out of his phone
